Open Class — Tuesday Nights, 8:00–9:30 PM

Traditional martial arts principles are taught with an emphasis on practical application, adaptability, awareness, and personal development.

Training is centred on Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, supported by experience in Aikido and Filipino Martial Arts. Classes focus on developing sound fundamentals, effective movement, decision-making, and the ability to adapt principles to changing circumstances.

Brad Schmidt was granted the distinction of being the only instructor in the history of the University of Calgary permitted to teach weapons instruction to the University of Calgary Sparring Club. To this day, he remains the only person ever granted this privilege. He volunteered his time to provide the instruction to the club.

Beginners are welcome. Previous martial arts experience is not required.
