
Firearms Safety Training
At the Canadian Combat Arts Association (CCAA), we provide professional firearms safety training in accordance with the standards established by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Canadian Firearms Program.
Whether you are applying for your first Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) or adding restricted firearm privileges, our courses focus on safe handling, responsible ownership, and practical understanding of Canadian firearms laws.
Our goal is to createa supportive learning environment where students gain the knowledge, confidence, and skills required to safely own and use firearms in Canada.
🇨🇦 Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC)
The Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) is the mandatory training course required for most Canadians seeking a Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) for non-restricted firearms.
Students will learn:
Firearm safety principles
Course Duration
Approximately 8–10 hours of instruction
In addition to classroom instruction, students must successfully complete:
A passing grade is required on both examinations before course completion can be certified.
🇨🇦 Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC)
The Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) is required for individuals seeking restricted firearm privileges as part of a Restricted Possession and Acquisition Licence (RPAL).
The CRFSC builds upon the knowledge gained in the CFSC and focuses on the safe handling and legal responsibilities associated with restricted firearms.
Students will learn:
